She is a former Food Editor at Martha Stewart Living and Recipes Editor at The Wall Street Journal. She is the author of "Six Basic Cooking Techniques: Culinary Essentials for the Home Cook," a cookbook based on the best-selling class at HCNY. She is the host of the cooking podcast, "Kitchen Radio." She lives in the Hudson Valley, NY with her family.
