Dr. D. C. Matthews

Dr. De'Andrea Matthews, also known as Dr. D. C. Matthews, is an award-winning author, educator, and international speaker. She writes fiction under her pen name, D. C. Wiggins and enjoys showing others how to triumph over tragedy to become their greatest possible selves. She is the founder and CEO of Claire Aldin Publications, LLC, an award-winning independent publishing company.

Most recently, Dr. Matthews became a 2022 Michigan Chronicle Woman of Excellence, a 2021 Top 100 Leader in Education from the Global Forum for Education and Learning, the recipient of the 2020 Better Business Bureau (BBB) Torch Award for Ethics and the 2020 Corp! Magazine Diversity Business Leader award.
