Rachel Weaving

Rachel Weaving is a British-born author, garden maker, and adviser on garden design who divides her time between Washington, DC and Corfu. She has a Certificate in Horticulture from the Royal Horticultural Society and studied at the Oxford College of Garden Design. Coming to Corfu after a career in international organizations, she quickly fell in love with the island, and began creating her own garden there twelve years ago on a steep hillside overlooking the sea. The challenge of doing so led her to study the island’s gardening conditions and traditions and their roots in its culture, history, and natural environment.
