Peggy Kime

Peggy has had horses since she was 8 years old. Married to a power plant and dam builder, she raised 3 kids in multiple locations, but she always found a way to ride. Her first 2 books are about her family. They never had a hometown. Read Not By A Dam Site: Memoirs of a Modern Nomad or Changing Places to get some insight into her life.

The third book, Hoof Prints On Her Heart, written for middle schoolers, is about a girl, a horse and bullying. It deals with a contemporary problem. Encouragement for young teens dealing with bullying and cyber-bullying. Marcy even catches the high school quarter back to become her special friend.

The new book, Peggy Wants A Pony, just released, is for younger kids and their parents. Peggy says, "Don't buy that horse until you know exactly what you are getting into." This last book is really 3 books in 1. One side is a story about Peggy's desire to get a pony, which includes beautiful pictures that you can color to make it your own. The flip side, So She Wants A Pony, contains advice for parents.
