Ms Terry Chambers

Terry Chambers lived on the Ohio River for eight years, just across from Rose Island Amusement Park aboard the Family Jewel. Much of her inspiration for writing her debut novel, ROSE ISLAND, came at sunset as she gazed across the river at its now deserted ruins with a martini in hand and listening to the big band sounds of the 1930s.

Having garnered an extensive business and legal background spanning a thirty-five-year career, Terry worked on every continent, except Antarctica, before settling down in Prospect, KY to start a custom design jewelry business with her very own Rob Prince Charming.

Playing a lead role in both the business and social scene of her community, she maintains a leadership position in the Prospect-Goshen Rotary Club, Louisville Sail and Power Squadron, and Prospect Code Enforcement Board. In addition, she is the co-founder of the Prospect Chamber of Commerce, a member of Hunting Creek Country Club and the Rose Island Yacht Club, as well as founder/director/actor of the Prospect Area Play Readers community theater. Never afraid of coloring outside the lines, Terry is affectionately referred to as Miss Bossy Pants, and known as someone who will take the lead and get things done.

After a lifetime of loving everything there is to love about the movies, Terry has also written the screenplay, ROSE ISLAND, which is prepared to roll when the right "Mr. DeMille" is ready for her close up.
