Akshay Swaminathan

Akshay Swaminathan is a data scientist who works on strengthening health systems. He has over forty peer-reviewed publications, and his work has been featured in the New York Times and STAT. He is the author of Winning with Data Science: A Handbook for Business Leaders. Akshay is a polyglot and the founder of startspeaking.org, a platform that helps language learners achieve spoken fluency. He has published 6 books and over 200 YouTube videos to teach languages including English, Spanish, French, Mandarin, Tamil, and Quechua. Akshay currently leads the data science team at Cerebral and is a Knight-Hennessy scholar at Stanford University School of Medicine.
