Simba Sana, born and raised in Washington D.C., is a speaker, entrepreneur and the author of Never Stop: A Memoir, which details his lifelong journey for love and fulfillment. Before writing his own book, Simba was the co-owner and CEO of Karibu Books, perhaps the most successful black owned bookstore chain in the history of the book industry with six stores in the DMV area. In 2007, Simba was named one of Washingtonian Magazine’s 40 under 40. A magna cum laude graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s University with a double-major in business and accounting, Simba also obtained two masters degrees from Howard University in African Studies and St. John’s College (Annapolis) in Liberal Studies. Since the age of 12, Simba has been passionately involved in the ‘sweet science’, first as an amateur boxer, then as a manager, and currently as an assistant coach. Simba lives with his wife and three children.
