Lorenzo Hill

Lorenzo Hill has served in the ministry of the Community of Christ (formerly The Reorganized Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints) since 1976 when he was ordained a priest. Throughout his ministry, he has been a self-supporting minister. He has served in his current office of Evangelist since 1988 and continues to be very active in ministry, serving in many different roles of leadership and service. His passion has been ministry to youth but health has caused him to restrict his role in this portion of his ministry. He continues in sharing

God's word actively in preaching and teaching. He does much of the audio visual work in the congregation that he attends.

Lorenzo was raised in St. Louis Missouri and resided there until he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1970 from the Missouri School of Science and Technology (formerly the University of Missouri at Rolla). He is a registered professional engineer. He has worked in the petroleum industry since he graduated from college and has retired twice. Needless to say, he has moved around quite a bit.

He and his wife of 50 years, Clotilde, have three children, Alicia Renee, Reynada Charlese, and a son, Jared Lorenzo.

Though he has taken many postgraduate courses in both engineering and ministry, Lorenzo chose not to pursue an advanced degree. He has written numerous technical reports and technical texts for the training and instruction of engineers . All of these works, however, were prepared for either clients or for internal company use and as such, were not issued as external publications.

Needless to say he never dreamed of being an author until God called him to do exapnd his ministry by doing so. Lorenzo' s Publications include:
