Trenice Porter was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana around a culture that makes her stories believable. Trenice was an avid reader for years before deciding that writing her own stories was what she really wanted to do. She started out with Shans Presents, releasing her first paranormal series, It Took a Beast to Tame Her and then an urban mystery within the same week called The Way to a Killer's Heart. Gathering and securing her audience with stories that left them wanting more, drove her to continue with her different style of writing.
