Ron Schlangen

Ronald F Schlangen (aka Ron Schlangen, aka Ron The Handyman)

Ron was born on a farm near Richmond, MN in 1950 to strict German Catholic parents. He is the oldest son of a family of thirteen, four sisters and eight brothers. He has three adult children and four grandchildren. His honey, Becky, has two children and five grandchildren.

Soon after graduating from high school Ron was drafted into the U.S. Army. After completing Military Police training he spent fourteen months in Vietnam. Learning to trust his gut helped him make it through that experience alive. This is the main motivation for creating his latest book, TO DONE Feeling Good. Another major motivator was experiencing writing police reports for military suicides.

Ron believes that feelings are the language of the soul and provide each of us directions to living our lives in harmony. Harmony can only be achieved when soul, body and mind are working together with love, joy, peace, unity and oneness.
