Andrew Medal is a tech entrepreneur and angel investor born and raised on the Southern Californian streets. He is the executive producer and host of the Entrepreneur.com featured “Action & Ambition” business podcast that was recently ranked "Top 50" business podcast on iTunes. He's the CEO at two companies, one which he recently invested into. He is also the host of the hit video show “Action & Ambition”(more than ten million viewers have tuned in across 3 seasons) with celebrity guests like DJ Khaled, Damon Dash, Theo Von, and Tito Ortiz.
His work has been featured in Forbes, Computerworld, The Next Web, FastCo, The WSJ, Fox, Fox News, TIME Magazine, Entrepreneur, Inc. and many others. He's the founder of Street Smarter, which is a program that teaches inmates in prisons how to build companies.
In 2011, he was sentenced to 2-5 years of state prison due to a probation violation that resulted from a fight in 2006. In prison, he used his time in prison to teach himself how to code, without the internet using textbooks and his number #2 golf pencil. And, learned how to build a tattoo gun out of a guitar string, Discman motor, and battery pack. Don't Drop The Soap is his first book.
