A WORLD OF BONES Short Stories of the Post Apocalypse, is also available on Amazon in paperback, Kindle and Kindle Unlimited.

All my proceeds from sales & KU reads of the post-apocalyptic novel MICHAEL AND THE END OF THE WORLD: How Would You Survive? are donated to disabled veteran's organizations.

If you are reading this little bio then you are probably thinking of buying a book or have already done so. If you have done the latter I thank you but if you are doing the former then I encourage you to buy as I donate my proceeds to disabled veterans organizations.

I was born in a relatively civilized council estate in England many years ago and spent my formative years dodging bricks and not stepping into dog poo. I moved to the USA at the age of 10, where I was raised by wolves in northern Michigan.

Thanks to the scarcity of jobs in 1973 and poor high school grades (what! me party?) severely limiting college opportunities, I enlisted in the US Army at the tail end of the Vietnam War and seeing some action along the way prior to retiring with all limbs intact in 1999.

I worked for the American Red Cross for a couple of years before returning to England – whereupon I worked for about 14 years as a contracted case manager for the Department of Veterans Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation Program, assisting disabled veterans residing in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

I've heard a lot of war stories and lived through some as well - some true and some not so true. Many of them are encapsulated as fiction within this novel.

In my younger years, I had the face of an angel and the body of Adonis. Sadly, this is no longer the case and cameras refuse to cooperate. Therefore, an old photo has been posted of the author in his 'Lawrence of Arabia' phase in the deserts of Iraq.
