Dee Dee Chumley

After twenty-three years of teaching, Dee Dee Chumley retired and became "re-fired" to pursue her love of writing. Since then she has received numerous awards for her short stories, essays, and poems, including two Best Juvenile Book awards from the Oklahoma Writers' Federation, Inc. When she's not writing, she is traveling across the country with her husband, Bill, to visit friends and family (which includes two adorable grandsons), volunteering at her church, or exercising at the gym. And when the weather is nice, she can be found quite often relaxing on her front porch.
