Vicky Anne Burke

I first began writing poetry in high school, and some of that became lyrics for a punk rock group. I struggled with ADHD and was on Ritalin for most of my childhood. This experience inspired MARTY THE MONKEY, who also has ADHD. I also wrote for my four children as a young mother. I continue to write for my children and grandchildren. However, my life has been varied and interesting, and so I have also written nonfiction to share my experiences and life knowledge with others. For instance, I have been an auctioneer, worked in the medical field, and received a diploma from college in 2009 with my four children looking on. I am also a motorcycle enthusiast, love outdoor activities, and plan to someday live off the grid.
