Dawn M. Crytzer

I was born and raised in Grand Island, New York and attended Grove City College in Pennsylvania, with a major in Mechanical Engineering. After finishing my degree, I got my first job in Pittsburgh working in the nuclear power industry, where I married my husband and had three kids.

My family relocated to North Carolina in 2013 where I decided to take a break from my career - we did live at the beach, after all, so sounded like a good time for a break...

Another job change for my husband later and we ended up in Charlotte where I started thinking about the future, and what I really wanted to do when I grew up. I'd always loved writing, even as a kid - fairy tales were my favorite. Princess Penelope and the Secret of the Last Wizard was my first book, followed by the rest of the Princess Penelope trilogy. Next came Olivia Was Here, and most recently, Secrets Lost in Monterey.
