Summer Lacy

Summer is wife to Chris and Mama to their three wild boys – Cole, Jacob, and Joshua.

A teacher at heart, Summer readily traded her role as a professor of Communication Studies for an amazing gig as stay-at-home mom when boy #2 made his debut. Summer continues to teach, but has moved out of the college classroom and into the realm of everyday life, serving as one of the leaders of the women’s Bible study at her home church.

Her first book, His Word Alone: A call to put down your Bible studies and pick up your Bible, was released in 2018. She has since added two accompanying workbooks to the His Word Alone collection. Her most recent endeavor is the founding of Seek and Find, a collaborative group of writers and teachers advocating for Bible literacy among Christians. Seek and Find recently released their second in-depth Bible study and their next series is in the works.
