Winde! Washington-Nnochirionye

Winde! Washington-Nnochirionye was born in Pontiac, Michigan and is the third daughter of Randi Massey (Rock Hill, SC), the late William Howard Taft Washington, Jr., and the late Lonnie Massey, Sr. Winde! has two older sisters and three younger brothers (one deceased). She is the proud mother of a pre-teen who is a promising poet, writer, and musician.

Winde! attended Bennett High School in Buffalo, New York. In her Senior year, she was an exchange student to Padua, Italy where she attended and graduated from high school at Alvise Cornaro Scuola Scientifico, an Italian speaking school. After high school, she attended Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama.

As a young world traveler, Winde! continued to travel throughout the country and abroad. She has lived in 9 different states and on 3 different continents. She lived and worked in Lagos, Nigeria for 3 years.

Winde! is the Sole Proprietor of Y.A.M.S. (Yet Another Seed) Creationİ. Winde! uses her gifts and talent to enlighten, encourage, and teach those that she encounters. She writes poetry, fiction, short stories, blogs, and performs spoken word. She is a motivational speaker and enjoys organizing and conducting seminars, workshops, and retreats for different groups. Winde! is currently in the publishing stages of her debut novel, THE TEMPEST IS RAGING.

Winde! considers herself a community advocate and activist and volunteers in many community service activities. She is also a lifetime Girl Scout.

Her favorite thing to do is write. Whether poetry, fiction, or speeches, her charge is to write the vision and make it plain. If she reaches one person, touches one person, or makes a difference in just one life, she feels her efforts will not have been in vain.
