Frank Alles has a love of music, lyric writing, and poetry. He has had his poems published in newspapers, poetry journals, and compilations. Frank loves music of all genres and serves as a Senior Editor and Equipment Reviewer at “The Stereo Times” online magazine since 1998.
Frank Alles’ new poetry book, “Clingers All” is a compilation of his best poems (and a few song lyrics) written over the last three decades. Frank’s poetry features his thoughts on the commercial American lifestyle and some of the implications and pitfalls of living “the dream.” As you read the book think about the ways we are mentally conditioned by the government, religious organizations, and by society itself.
There are also poems of spiritual nature, a poem about the advent of digital music reproduction, ”Frankenstein,” and a new take on football, America’s favorite sport titled “Pig’sKin”—sure football is great entertainment for many of us but it does have a dark side as Frank poignantly illuminates.
