Jeff Goulding is the author of eight books with Pitch Publishing covering the history of Merseyside football. The Red Odyssey series captures the story of Liverpool Football Club from its humble beginnings in the Lancashire League in 1892, to its crowning as champions of England for the 19th time in 2020 and beyond to the end of the Klopp era.The books describe the whole journey through the eyes of those who lived it and in many cases with stunning first person perspective.
Jeff has also penned Stanley Park Story: Life, Love and the Merseyside Derby, in which he weaves together fact, personal experience and fiction to tell the story of the Merseyside derby through the eyes of three generations of Reds and Blues. His fifth book was a collaboration with former Liverpool Reserve during the Shankly era, George Scott. Published on September 21st, 2020, The Lost Shankly Boy is the story of a young boy from a village in Aberdeen, who dreamed of being a footballer, and who rubbed shoulders with some of the greatest names in the game.
His other two titles are collaborations with with fellow Liverpool historian, Kieran Smith, The Untouchables: Anfield's Band of Brothers, which tells the story of one of the greatest teams in the club's history, and contains unique insights from family members and previously unknown details about the lives of the players and the men behind the scenes. The Untouchables is an eagerly anticipated account of a forgotten period of Anfield history in which Liverpool won their first back-to-back league titles. The pair have also coauthored Red Dawn: The Ballad of Tom Watson and Liverpool FC's First Champions and includes stunning details of the life and times of the man who led Liverpool Football Club to their first two titles, and who is to this day the club's longest serving manager.

He has also been a regular feature writer for This is Anfield for many years. He lives with his wife and family in the home of his birth, Liverpool, and is a season ticket holder at Anfield, where he has spent more than 40 years supporting the club from the iconic Spion Kop.
