Rajub Bhowmik

Dr. Rajub Bhowmik brings a rare combination of academic excellence, law enforcement leadership, and creative talent. He serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law, Police Science, and Criminal Justice at John Jay College of Criminal Justice (CUNY), and also teaches psychology at both St. John's University in New York and St. Elizabeth University in New Jersey. Beyond the classroom, Dr. Bhowmik is a dedicated law enforcement professional with the New York City Police Department, where he applies his expertise daily in the field. Originally from Bangladesh, he began his professional journey in the arts as a model, actor, and songwriter in the Bangladeshi film industry. Today, he continues to bridge disciplines, cultures, and careers, standing out as a dynamic force in public service, education, and the creative world.
