Anne Bashore

Anne is a self-professed nerd, foodie, and haphazard historian. Co-author of The Paris Portal, and the continuing Compass Series, she is also a wife and mother of three sons. Currently, she lives in Maryland, but hopped over recently from the West Coast and is willing to move wherever life leads.

Her love of writing first blossomed in eighth grade when she was given a short story assignment that turned into an entire 100,000 word series. (The stories were awful, of course, but what else can you expect of a 12-year-old?) She hasn't stopped writing since. Her goal is to bring positive representation of asexuality to the forefront, and to write healthy, realistic romances and character development. Adventure and science fiction is just an added bonus.
