Dawn R. Ward

Dawn R. Ward is the author of the book, From Guilt to Grace: Hope and Healing for Christian Moms of Addicted Children. She has also co-authored and contributed to three other books.

Dawn has served in Women's Ministry and leadership for over thirty years. Professionally, she worked in the medical field for over 25 years, primarily with female patients, which gave her a unique perspective into the hearts and lives of women.

Dawn is the mother of three adult children, two who have battled substance use disorder, and one who is on the Autism Spectrum. She understands how difficult it is to stand strong while trying to support hurting children. She knows from personal experience the negative effects that trying to save our loved ones has on us emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Dawn has formed an online support group for women whose children struggle with addiction or life-destructive behaviors. She started a ministry and blog that offers spiritual guidance and prayer to help women grow stronger in their faith. Her passion is to teach and equip women to live victorious lives of faith despite the hardships they are facing.

When Dawn is not working or writing, she enjoys travel, being outdoors, exercising, spending time with her family and friends, and anything coffee.
