Welcome to my author page. I'm the creator of Bedtime Stories for Queer Folks, a graphic novel series of queer fairy tales, fables, myths and nursery rhymes for grown-ups.

The first book, ALEX in DREAMLAND, is a graphic novel coloring book for grown-ups.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York but I started developing the Bedtime Stories for Queer Folks series while I lived in Amsterdam, Holland (1993-1996) and in Johannesburg, South Africa (1996-2002). Everyone was familiar with fairy tales, fables, myths and nursery rhymes and it was a fun way to entertain my new friends.

I had a lot of stories when I returned home to America and I was eager to share them. Eventually, I created the first graphic novel in the series, ALEX IN DREAMLAND. I hosted many diner theater parties and projected the images of the book onto a large screen. I invited guests to read the lines and take on the roles of the characters. When I received my first proof of the book. I began coloring and doodling in it. That was my 'Aha' moment. Since Bedtime Stories is all about childhood nostalgia for adults, a coloring book seemed like a good fit. To test my theory, I began hosting coloring book dinner parties.

Bedtime Stories has grown to include merchandise, music, and performance art. In the video section, I've included book trailers and some footage from the various dinner parties.
