LeAnne Hunt

LeAnne Hunt grew up in southern Illinois, and the accent returns without warning. She has a master's in English and has taught at Parkland College and Austin Community College. She has worked as a freelance writer and proofreader, tutor, data reviewer for an environmental lab and a library assistant. She is deadly in heels and awkward in social settings.

Currently living in Orange County, California, she is a regular at the Ugly Mug poetry reading in Orange and a member of the Poetry Lab in Long Beach. She posts writing prompts at her website, leannehunt.com.
