Col. Julie Tizard, US Air Force (retired), is the multi-award winning author of "The Road To Wings," "Flight To The Horizon," and "Free Fall at Angel Creek." She has been a professional pilot for over 40 years and was one of the first women to earn Air Force pilot wings where she flew as a T-37 instructor pilot, a KC-10 aircraft commander, aircraft accident investigator and a Squadron Commander. She was also a Captain at a major airline flying the Boeing 737, 757, 767, the DC-10, and the Airbus 320. Her first book, "The Road To Wings," was named Debut Book of the Year-2018 by the Golden Crown Literary Society. She now flies her own aircraft, a T-67 "Firefly" and mentors young pilots.
