Dr. Shrikrishna G. Phadke is a third generation Ayurvedic practitioner who graduated from A. Vaidyak Mahavidyalaya Satara, which is known to be one of the oldest Ayurvedic Institutes in the world. Dr. Phadke also earned a Ph.D. from the University of Pune. He has served as a member of the Central Council of Indian Medicine, which regulates Ayurveda’s academic activities throughout India.
He currently has students around the world and has presented his views and wisdom on Ayurveda to researchers and physicians in India, Germany, France, Italy, and the United States. He also consults for private industry as an educator, advisor, and formulator for the US-based companies. Dr. Phadke has more than 40 years of experience in Ayurveda, as a teacher, consultant, author and university administrator.
For 25 years Dr. Phadke served as principal and dean at his Alma mater (A. Vaidyak Mahavidyalaya Satara) following in the footsteps of his father who also held that position. His father, Govind A. Phadke, was an illustrious Vedic scholar who also wrote an entire series of wildly popular books on Ayurvedic principles and therapies.

He is the co-inventor of Nurolight and co-patent holder for all patents on the product worldwide, as well as the medical Advisor for the Nisarga Biotech Group and NuAxon Bioscience Inc.
Dr. Phadke is highly respected for his contribution to Ayurveda by teaching the principals to modern doctors in the west for last 20 years. He was awarded a lifetime achievement award in the form of the Ayurveda Fellowship with the University of New Delhi in 2014.
