Ken Currie

Ken Currie is a retired United State Air Force officer currently residing in Florida. During his Air Force career, Currie held positions at virtually all levels of command, from the tactical fighter wing to the Air Staff. During his seventeen-year tenure in Washington DC, he served on the staff of the Air Force Intelligence Agency as Director of Research and Soviet Studies, where he oversaw the Air Force’s Soviet Awareness Program. His final posting prior to retirement was as the Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Russia and Eurasia. Following retirement, he served in a senior civilian position with the United States Transportation Command at Scott AFB, Illinois; as a civilian contractor with the United States European Command in Stuttgart, Germany; and as a lecturer in American Government and International Studies at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

An author of both political science textbooks and espionage thrillers, his thirty plus years in active duty and government service, as well as extensive travels abroad provide the backdrop for his writings. His first novel, 'Crisis Point' sold over 22,000 copies in its first paperback edition. The first eBook edition is now available on Kindle while he finishes up work on his next title 'Mutual Enemies,' which will be released in 2018.
