K.M. Waldvogel

K.M. Waldvogel is a former teacher who grew up in central Wisconsin. Writing has intrigued her since she was in fourth grade and received encouragement from her teacher. There has always been something comforting to her in finding just the right word to make stories come alive. She has a passion for reading and writing and absolutely adores American history.

She is the author of three published picture books, a middle grade narrative non-fiction book, and continues to work on other writing projects. Inspiration for her stories comes from people and events in her daily life.

Waldvogel and her husband split their time between Arizona and Wisconsin and find beauty in both states. She loves traveling, hiking/walking, pickleball, cooking, traveling, and spending time with close friends and family. When not doing one of these activities, you can find her reading, reading, and reading some more! In fact, there's a mystery calling her name right now!
