Margarida Romero

Margarida Romero is a research professor at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute (IIIA-CSIC) in Barcelona. After the best PhD award in Psychology (2010) for a double PhD programme in France (CNRS UMR UT2J-UB3) and Spain (SINTE SGR-0819), she did her tenure track at Université Laval (Canada) and was appointed in 2017 as a full professor at Université Côte d’Azur, Nice, where she founded the Laboratory for Innovation and Digital Technology in Education (LINE), a research unit in the learning sciences. Her research focuses on the study of creative uses of technology (#ppai6), particularly in relation to artificial intelligence in education (AIED) and creative problem-solving in Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL).
