Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my little corner of Amazon, which by the way is a great place to be!

So a little bit about myself: I live in Lancashire, England and am a full time agricultural worker by day (yup - a cabbage cutter) but in the darkest depths of the night I can be found locked in my shed and working tirelessly by lamplight.

When I’m not writing my other passion is guitar which I have studied for thirty years now and am pretty good at even if I do say so myself!

About my writing: l like to take ordinary folks, warts and all, and put them in unusual situations. As a writer one of my maxims is: if something seems hard to write then do it - don’t chicken out!

Dialogue, action and narrative must be convincing and direct, but most of all - it must be entertaining.

I spent three years writing Crowmen, it is my first novel and as such was a labour of love. It is packed full of detail with multiple sub-plots and a host of reprehensible characters for whom few tears will be shed when each meets their respective demise.

For those who are interested, I will, soon be uploading a trio of short stories, which will be free to read and I am currently well underway with a second novel, very different from Crowmen but equally as awesome - so watch this space...
