Louis Martin

Louis has been writing since he was a child, and training in martial arts his entire adult life. He earned three black belts and received a master's license in Japanese jujutsu before the age of thirty. He has a degree in Writing and Rhetoric from Cal State Monterey Bay.

Today, he has figured out a way to merge his two passions: writing and martial arts. He owns the website highpercentagemartialarts.com, and has written for sites such as JitsMagazine and Grappling Insider. The success of True Believers has led him to be featured on numerous sites and podcasts, including an upcoming documentary by "McDojo Life" productions

Despite everything that transpired in True Believers, Louis never lost his love for training, and on most nights you can find him on a mat, somewhere in California.
