J. L. Wright

J. L. Wright was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota and earned a B.S from Bemidji State University and M.Ed. from University of Texas, Arlington. Publications include her books, Unsettled Joy: An illustrated journey in poetry, Unadoptable Joy: A memoir in poetry and prose and Homesless Joy: An expose in poetry and prose. She received her second Boyton award in 2021. Her poems have been published on four continents.

Recently, J. L. became a boomerang resident of Texas where she continues to write and share her skills with others through Wrightings.
