Philipp Strazny

Philipp Strazny was born in Germany and completed an M.A. in English, Philosophy, and Sociology at the University of Cologne with a genre study on Spaghetti Westerns as final thesis. He then moved to the U.S. in the mid nineties and added an M.A. in Linguistics and Computer Sciences at the UW-Madison. This led to him editing an "Encyclopedia of Linguistics." Over more than two decades, he has been working as localizer and web programmer for The Geo Group, a Madison-based translation agency. On the side, he enjoys translating literature. He and his family live in Manitowoc, WI.
