J.D. Hager

Mister Hager inhabits Northern California with one wife and a collection of miscellaneous animals. He spends his days dropping science on middle school children and searching out novel shortcuts through traffic. In between these invigorations, he enjoys planting seeds, eating tacos, and building blanket forts. A former biologist, world champion athlete, and surf bum turned middle school science teacher, his stories have won prizes, publications, and a Pushcart nomination.

He is currently seeking representation for his first novel.
