Natasha Maughan

Natasha was born in the UK and grew up in the island of Barbados. She spent many years between the two countries, finally settling down in Barbados where she earned a bachelor degree in Management, got married and had a son. In 2010, she and her young family relocated to Boston, where her daughter was born.

Natasha had always been a dancer and performer, with choreography being her first love and preferred creative outlet. That shifted temporarily, however, with the ‘rise’ of Donald Trump during the 2016 elections. Like most people, Natasha became enraged by the repatriation rhetoric and was soon asking herself the question “What would happen if the whole world was repatriated?...” Six weeks after asking that first question, ‘Going Home’ was born.

Never before had Natasha considered herself a writer, but her friends and family were excited by the work and potential and encouraged her to seek publishing. She is now writing the second book in the ‘Going Home’ series.
