Hi, I'm Roni Elayne Singer, and I'm the author of Over 50? Menopausal? You’re Fired!! It's a perfect self-help gift book for anyone walking the rocky road of unemployment. It tells about the funny (mis)adventures of Penny Pinkslip and is packed with colorful drawings and practical tips.

My friend, Nancy DePrimo Zuromski, and I co-wrote this book to keep each other sane when we were both out of work at the same time. Unfortunately, we've endured several rounds of the unemployment merry-go-round nightmare, and we don't want others to struggle like we have. So now we're bringing advice, hope and laughter to the world through Penny Pinkslip!

Today, I'm back in the workforce as a trainer and technical writer in Houston, Texas. I have two grown children and two grown dachshunds. I enjoy singing, playing piano, cooking and being with her family and friends.
