next year. I was born and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and up until my late twenties, I had no desire to leave there let alone relocate to the other side of the country. Somewhere around turning the age of 30 ignited some type of feeling that there must be something better out there and look beyond the Pennsylvania borders. I moved to North Carolina to a town not too far from the shore and lived there for almost 2 years, but then environmental circumstances (hurricanes!) made me look elsewhere. I wanted to have some fun with some of the guys I went to college with. They like reading about themselves and I like putting words in their mouths. I always tried to keep my dialogue clean in my other works but this time out, I wanted to just let it all hang out, have my characters speak like they do in real life. It’s always fun to revisit my time at the University of Pitt at Titusville, that time period just contains so many memories, most of them good, some great! Nostalgia? You bet. These stories hold a special place for me as I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life back then and now I am ready to retire. Full circle. The journey has been one full of surprises, hell, I never thought I would ever become a writer but here I am. I returned to Pennsylvania but not in Pittsburgh but further north towards the Erie direction and stayed there for a few years. Since then, I've lived on an Indian Reservation in Arizona and different places in Las Vegas and currently live as the token Caucasian what could best be described as a ghetto of North Las Vegas. My life has been interesting, truly a journey. I've encountered hurricanes, blizzards, earthquakes and tornadoes. I'm here to safely say that I am still alive and kicking with only minor bruises and scars.
