I am a former Creative Marketing Executive for several top investment management firms and mother of three. One day I read an article on the Creativity Crisis that is currently afflicting our children. With today's vast increase in time spent by children in front of TVs and computer screens, coupled with a heightened focus on core academic standards in school, it's no surprise that we find our children's creativity scores in free-fall. So, I felt like I needed to do something to help increase my own children's creative intelligence. I started putting together activities and tools that I could use with them. This passion turned into a larger focus and that's when I created my company "Raise Creative Kidz". Through research and pulling from my own creative background, I created a website, wrote a book, and created creativity-training tools for adults to use with children. I am hoping to help parents, communities, and schools to cultivate and nourish children's Creative Intelligence to help reverse this Creativity Crisis we find ourselves in. I have also started an off-shoot company called "Raise Creative Investors." I have created a website to teach financial literacy to kids, teens and young adults.
