Sherma L. Thomas

My name is Sherma Lindsay Thomas and I was born in September 1984. I live in Babonneau, Castries St. Lucia with my parents. I was born prematurely at 7 months and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy a few months after birth.

Growing up in St. Lucia I wasn`t able to get public education because there were no schools for children with my condition. However, I was able to receive some home education.

I started writing short stories in my early teens and in 2004 I combined the short stories into my first book. I have written a total of five books.

My inspiration comes from my love for story-telling. The ideas for my stories over the years come from my travelling experience and watching my favourite Television Programmes.
