The Fastball Series contains a mix of financial, legal, crime, and spy thrillers. The first three books primarily contain financial and legal themes, while the last eight involve covert government operations by the United States and its adversaries.

My newest novel, The Nexus of Death: A CIA Thriller, is currently being reviewed by my early readers and will be published in November 2026.

Previously, I published my debut novel, Fastball: A Financial Thriller, in 2017, followed by Heygood Gambit: A Legal and Financial Thriller in 2018, Mitra's Last Hustle: A Financial Thriller in 2019, To Save the Golden-Cheeked Warbler: An Austin, Texas Crime Thriller in 2020, Free Fall from Grace: The Making of a Washington Insider in 2021, Strawberry Epiphany: A Spy Thriller in 2022, The Roswell Lowdown: A CIA Thriller in 2023, The Africa Sanction: A CIA Thriller in February 2024, The China Riddle: A CIA Thriller in December 2024, and The Operative's Dilemma: A CIA Thriller in September 2025. All these books are part of the Fastball Series, but you can read them in any order. The series follows the main character, Lonny Jones, and a group of his close friends and associates.

My favorite part of writing is getting feedback on early book drafts from a diverse set of friends I've met at various points in my life. Their candid feedback greatly improved each book.

In addition to writing thrillers, I consult in airline operational recovery, operations, technology, analytics, and finance. Previously, I held leadership positions in Analytics, Finance, Maintenance, and Technology at two major airlines, and I taught and conducted research in academia.

I enjoy playing with my grandchildren, playing early-morning pickleball at the YMCA, and eating Mexican food with my family.
