Doreen Wennberg

Who is Doreen Wennberg? She is a passionate student and teacher of God's Word and has been leading prayer and Bible Study groups since 1999. She loves God's people and has been privileged and blessed to serve on mission trips to the Dominican Republic, and New Mexico in the U.S. She has served in various roles with women's conferences, primarily her home area of Tampa Bay, as well as through out the United States. She loves to see God's people worship Him in Spirit and in truth. She is the Former speaker and Substitute Teaching Leader, (STL) of the evening women's Bible Study Fellowship class, (BSF). Doreen Wennberg has authored two books for newlyweds and has compiled a 365 day devotional which is due out in 2018. As a wife and mother of two adult children, she attests to the power of prayer in countless ways. The Newlywed Book of Prayers, The Husband and Wife's Versions came about when her eldest son married. Doreen desires that every newlywed couple take the opportunity to start their new life off with God as the foundation and center of their marriage. If this is your desire as a couple, prayer will be the key. Through scripture and prayer, a newlywed learns to look to God and draw strength for every matter concerning their marriage. When Doreen is not writing, she enjoys spending time with her family, long walks, sunsets, and hikes near mountain streams. In this technological age, much of her writing occurs during her times on the back porch listening to the sounds of the fountain from the lake.
