Barbara Sorensen Fallick

I currently have four novels published and one children's book. My historical novel, Farewell, Fleeing Repatriation tells a little known aspect of World War II where a couple is caught between forced repatriation to Russia and the unwelcoming atmosphere in the US which declares all Russians to be Communist spies. My other novels are contemporary romances. While not the focus of the story, all of my novels have some religious aspect, some LDS, some not. I have a hard time imagining life without religion at the center of it.

My children's book, Elizabeth and the Potato Dolly is a story my grandmother told, gently and charmingly portrayed through photographs about a bygone era where even potatoes could become a doll.

I grew up in rural Utah, Emery and Manti. I graduated from Brigham Young University and received my K-3 teaching certificate from Westminster College. I have had the privilege of living in France, the Dominican Republic and Chile and love the people and culture of each country.
