I grew up in Southern Oregon's Rogue Valley and spent much of my youth exploring the state's mountains and wilderness areas. I am currently an assistant professor of environmental and agricultural history at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
My research focuses on the history of aerial pesticide application, health, and food production in North America's Grasslands. I teach environmental and agricultural history, the history of science and technology, the American West, and public history.
