Shira Adler's own mother is probably looking down at her right now with pride mingled with twinges of concern over the fact that Shira's first book "The ABC's of CBD" explains: "Why Pot Is NOT What We Were Taught."
Shira's journey from her early life to author and inspirational speaker is more than unusual, but she has always been drawn to doing things in unique ways. Maybe that's how she ended up on four game shows back in the day, when she lived in Los Angeles (if you want to look them up: Supermarket Sweep, Shop Till You Drop, The Newlywed Game and even Family Feud with her four younger biological siblings -- and yes, she won all but the first one -- and that's only because her shopping cart had a bum wheel.)
After earning a BA and MFA in voice, Shira dedicated three plus decades to spiritual care work as a cantor, non-denominational Interfaith Minister and healer (Certified Past Life Repressionist, intuitive and spiritual counselor) before being featured on Bravo as the debut mom on "Extreme Guide to Parenting." Only after all that, plus a few other major TV, radio, podcast and magazine features, and working as a voice-over artist (something she still does on the side) did Shira author her first book on CBD and medical marijuana.
Yet all these divergent roads have arrived together into a technicolor wood, because of her Mama-bear passion for her two highly creative kids. Just like EVERY parent -- who is motivated to find systems of integration and healthy solutions for her family -- Shira leapt down many unusual rabbit holes. Her motivation now is to share what she has seen, learned and experienced -- speaking out loudly and proudly on natural wellness, personal empowerment, and alternative healthcare.
Shira's career has been highlighted by mainstream media through her work as an advocate, activist, speaker, media personality and entrepreneur (Founder and CEO) of a natural wellness company: Shira Synergy - creators of the first ever CBD infused aromatherapy line of Synergy Sprays.
Shira's passion and purpose are supported by her whole media-wellness family including her (now) teens -- an Indigo child son and a professional teen actress and budding activist daughter, her partner Andy Kadison -- writer, producer & entrepreneur, two rescue dogs, and a double yellow-headed Amazon parrot who sings opera like his Mama.
If Shira sounds like the kind of interesting sister goddess you'd like to know better, great!
