Harley Zed Mona

Harley Zed Mona is a gamer-turned-storyteller who dared to do more than merely exist in someone else’s world—he became the master of his own. The result is a revolutionary book that captures the atmosphere of a video game and challenges the typical character archetypes, released when the author was 16 years old. It is: Our Guardian Renegade.

It all started as a seventh-grade school project. The assignment, to create a protagonist who is an anti-hero. That was the birth of Reese, who was soon joined by Hex, his cybernetic raven. Like unraveling a puzzle, Mona added a crew of others, inspired by his own group of inseparable friends, who became collectively known as The Guardians.

Mona went onto join forces with a like-minded writer who was developing a similar project. The synergy was unmistakable. Taking a complimentary pen name, Ophelia Zed Mona is now a collaborator, and is helping to bring the world of Our Guardian Renegade to life. More installments are in the works for the series from the writing team.

Harley Zed Mona continues to write adventures for the Our Guardian Renegade series. He is also actively involved in music projects and dedicated to his education.
