Kent Voigt is a multifaceted individual with broad experience in several fields. He began work as on-air talent in commercial broadcasting. Later, he migrated to his true calling - working directly with people. He holds university degrees in the social sciences, communication and a doctorate in education. He has been a teacher, school leader and university professor.
Following retirement from academics, he studied for and earned ordination in ministry. He currently serves as a guest minister in several churches and as a part time hospital chaplain. Through the years he has helped hundreds of children and adults deal with personal challenges, spiritual and critical concerns including life and death issues.
Happily married for nearly fifty years, he and wife Terrie delight in spending time with their children and grandchildren. They are also active in their community, in the arts and in travel. To date they have toured extensively in North America and visited a great many nations on six of the world's seven continents (Antarctica awaits). They make their home in Michigan.
Author of several specialized books and articles, Kent agreed to write Manage Your Life: Active Responses to Challenges in answer to requests from the people he serves.
