Anne G D Smith

After her own New England childhood in the 1950s and 60s, Anne G.D. Smith earned a degree in music, taught school, worked as a medical secretary, homeschooled her six children from birth until college, and fell in love with Sudoku. Dubbed “The Old Lady on the Bike” by a child on her daily route, she spends her rides designing houses that will never be built and devising solutions for national problems that would be sabotaged if ever implemented. She and her husband, Edward, live in northern Massachusetts.
