Darnella A. Allen

Darnella A. Allen is a woman who has lived with liver disease for over a decade. She has been involved in ministry for 25 years, with a commitment to preaching and teaching healing and faith to those living with chronic or terminal illness. When Darnella was diagnosed with hepatitis C, she had to re-examine her faith and teachings. She began to preach about how to embrace life after a person has been given a diagnosis that calls for adapting to a “new normal”.

Darnella A. Allen is an ordained minister, and licensed counselor. She is also the founder of Liver Education Advocacy & Prevention Services (LEAPS), which provides education, support, and advocacy to those living with liver disease. This is a non-profit organization that is committed to reducing new diagnoses of liver disease. She does this through community support groups and community events.

Darnella has gone to Washington D.C. and met with legislators to advocate for the needs of those with hepatitis. She has worked with Hawaiian Strategic Plan for Hepatitis Reduction, and is Ohio Director of the National Association of Hepatitis Taskforces.

Darnella is the co-owner of ElevationsRadio.com. Her weekly show “I Will Live Until I Die” airs on Saturday’s at 9am. This show is to encourage the listeners not to give up because of an unfavorable diagnosis. She also host’s “I Will Live! Until I Die…Making Every Moment Count luncheons.

Darnella has released her first CD of healing music and scriptures titled, “By His Stripes” that can be purchased on Amazon. Darnella is married to Edward and is the mother of Shannon Oribello. Darnella loves the Lord, and loves to teach biblical principles regarding healing and hope.
