L.S. Childe

L.S. Childe was born in the 1970s under another name, carrying on a long family legacy of adopting monikers that bear little or no resemblance to given names. Her first book was the KJV Bible (thanks, Mom), first comic book The Amazing Spider-Man, first in-theater movie Sleeping Beauty, and first attempt at writing for publication a wildly derivative scary story for a contest in the fifth grade (she received second place and is probably totally okay with that now). The authors who inspire and entertain her most today include Stephen King, Madeleine L'Engle, Neil Gaiman, Walter Brueggemann, Stephen King, Desmond Tutu, Dave Barry, Maya Angelou, Stephen King, Margaret Atwood, James Baldwin, and let's see...oh yeah, Stephen King.

L.S. grew up with her sister and mother, all dividing their waking hours between home, church, school, and an insatiable appetite for reading. At the auspicious age of 42 (the Age and Answer to Everything) - after marrying, moving, delivering three daughters, divorcing, moving back, and teaching/ministering in churches for decades - L.S. finally answered the call to offer some of her learning and spiritual formation in book form. Her Seasons series currently consists of two books, with more coming as soon as she can wrangle them from the vast wild lands of her mind and pen. She hopes you LOVE them.

Thanks for reading!
