Ken Shumate

Ken Shumate is author of, 1764: The First Year of the American Revolution, The Sugar Act and the American Revolution, and The Stamp Act and the American Revolution. He is an independent researcher specializing in the early years of the American Revolution, with a particular emphasis on parliamentary taxation, and is hard at work on his next book: The Townshend Acts and the American Revolution.
